Today was a very strange day. First I attended an interview last week for a very interesting role with a major player in the transport industry. The role was expected to start very quickly and the interview was simply brilliant. I was therefore surprised when I had not heard from them after three days. On the next Tuesday after the interview, still no call or email. I just knew the role had not been given to me. The letter then came this morning to confirm what I already suspected.

Before then, earlier today I had sent an email to my contact in the finance team of one of my customers on the status of a purchase order I had been chasing. She confirmed the PO had been raised and awaiting authorisation. This made me very happy because it was now a question of “when” and not “if”. Also this morning, I was on my iPhone going through the Affirmations App and I came across “I have the courage to have a vision and take steps tirades it”. So when the letter of the interview came, I felt ok. “Nothing spoil” as we say in Nigeria.
